The 2024 Giants Live World Tour Open: A Showdown of the World’s Strongest Men
On September 7, 2024, the world’s elite strongmen will converge in Birmingham, England, for the highly anticipated 2024 Giants Live World Tour Open. Twelve athletes from five countries will compete in five grueling events, including the World Log Lift Challenge (WLLC), where the current world record holder, Cheick “Iron Biby” Sanou, is expected to attempt a new world record.

Wildcards to watch out for include Luke Richardson (UK), who is making a comeback after recovering from a long-term biceps injury, and Oleksii Novikov (UKR), who has had a string of lackluster outings due to nagging injuries. Evan Singleton (USA) is known for his prowess in single-day competitions on the Giants Live circuit and could pull off another strong performance if he can establish an early lead.
