The 2024 “Strongest Man on Earth” Competition Promises Unparalleled Excitement
On August 17–18, the highly anticipated 2024 “Strongest Man on Earth” competition is set to take place in Loveland, CO. This annual event is regarded as one of the premier Strongman showcases, and this year’s edition is shaping up to be truly exceptional.
With the recent acquisition of the “Strongest Man on Earth” title by Brian Shaw, the competitors have an added incentive to claim the coveted crown. Notably, last year’s victor, Shaw, will not be defending his title, ensuring that a new champion will emerge.
The stacked lineup for the 2024 competition has just been revealed, and it boasts an array of Strongman superstars. Hafthor Bjornsson, the 2018 World’s Strongest Man, will make his highly anticipated return to the sport, determined to showcase his post-retirement prowess.
Reigning World’s Strongest Man Mitchell Hooper, who finished second at last year’s event, is the odds-on favorite. However, he will face stiff competition from two-time World’s Strongest Man titleholder Tom Stoltman, with whom he has developed a captivating rivalry in recent years.
Evan Singleton, the former WWE wrestler known as “T-Rex,” has already proven his ability to topple both Hooper and Stoltman in elite competitions, and he will be looking to pull off another surprise.
Other notable athletes in the lineup include Trey Mitchell, the two-time Shaw Classic champion, and Oleksii Novikov, the 2020 World’s Strongest Man. Both will be aiming to overcome recent injury setbacks and make a formidable impact.
“With two additional spots still to be announced, the 2024 ‘Strongest Man on Earth’ competition is shaping up to be a true spectacle of strength and determination. Fans can expect an exceptional display of athletic prowess as the world’s most elite Strongmen battle it out for the coveted title.”
