On June 7-9, 2024, the Palais des Expositions – Nice Acropolis in Nice, France, hosted the highly anticipated 2024 HYROX World Championships. The competition boasted a $150,000 prize pool, drawing the top ELITE 15 athletes in both the men’s and women’s divisions to compete for the title of HYROX World Champion.
After navigating eight rigorous functional fitness stations interspersed with one-kilometer runs, Megan Jacoby and Alexander Roncevic emerged victorious, claiming the coveted HYROX World Champion titles.
Jacoby’s performance was nothing short of remarkable, as she became the lone female athlete to complete the course in under 60 minutes, crossing the finish line in 59:59. The defending HYROX World Champion, Lauren Weeks, secured the runner-up position, finishing nearly four minutes behind Jacoby.
