The 2024 Romania Muscle Fest Pro, a 2025 Olympia Weekend qualifying show, will take place in Bucharest, Romania, on November 9-10, 2024. The event will feature nine IFBB Pro League divisions, with the exceptions of Men’s Wheelchair and Fitness. The winners of these contests will earn their spot at the 2025 Olympia, though the dates and locations of the prestigious event are yet to be announced.
Men’s Open Division: Early Favorites Emerge
In the Men’s Open division, three early favorites have emerged. Rafael Brandao, who finished 8th at the 2024 Mr. Olympia in Las Vegas, is a top contender, having won the Romania Muscle Fest Pro in 2021. Brandao and his coach, Neil Hill, are seeking an early qualification for the 2025 Olympia. The “BK Beast,” Akim Williams, placed 10th at the 60th Mr. Olympia and was the 2024 Toronto Pro Supershow champion. Williams’ impressive mass and improved physique make him a threat in any competition. Emir Omeragic, who did not compete at the 2024 Olympia, is considered a dark horse for this show. He finished third at the 2024 Mr. Big Evolution, behind winner Nathan De Asha and runner-up William Bonac, and also won bronze at the 2024 Flex Weekend Pro. If Omeragic can pull off an upset victory, it will be his first professional win.
