Kassandra Gillis Triumphs at the 2024 Sin City Showdown Pro in Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV – August 24, 2024: In a captivating display of strength and poise, Kassandra Gillis (Canada) emerged victorious at the 2024 Sin City Showdown Pro, securing her spot to compete in the upcoming 2024 Olympia Weekend, which will take place in Las Vegas from October 10-13.
Gillis, the reigning 2023 Wellness International champion, faced stiff competition from a talented lineup of professional athletes, including runner-up Nicole Salazar-Alpizar (Costa Rica) and bronze medalist Taylor Fletcher (Australia).
Salazar-Alpizar, making her pro debut, delivered an impressive performance, earning the unanimous decision from the judges as the runner-up. Fletcher, a rookie on the IFBB Pro League stage, showcased her potential and received constructive feedback from the judges to focus on developing her glute musculature for future competitions.
This victory marks Gillis’s third pro show of the 2024 season, following her second-place finishes at the 2024 Tampa Pro and the 2024 Texas Pro. With the Sin City Showdown win, Gillis has secured her qualification to return to Las Vegas and compete in the prestigious Wellness Olympia.
