Defending Champion Mitchell Hooper Retains Lead After Thrilling Power Drive Event at 2024 Rogue Strongman Invitational
The second day of the highly anticipated 2024 Rogue Strongman Invitational saw the defending champion, Mitchell Hooper, maintain his position atop the leaderboard, holding a four-point advantage over 2018 World’s Strongest Man (WSM) titleholder Hafthor Björnsson. Three-time reigning WSM Tom Stoltman trailed Hooper by seven points heading into the day’s events.
The Power Drive Event

In a standout performance, Tom Stoltman claimed his first event win of the weekend, crossing the finish line nearly five seconds ahead of Björnsson. Stoltman’s final time of 1:04.81 set the bar for the other competitors.
“This event was a true test of power and endurance, and I’m thrilled to have come out on top,” said Stoltman. “The competition is fierce, but I’m determined to make a strong showing this weekend.”
