Rogue Strongwoman Invitational Heats Up with Thrilling Yoke Escalator Event

Strongman enthusiasts were treated to an electrifying display of power and agility at the penultimate event of the 2024 Rogue Strongwoman Invitational. The Yoke Escalator, a grueling challenge consisting of a 40-foot yoke walk followed by a series of three power stairs, set the stage for a fierce competition.

Heading into the event, Inez Carrasquillo maintained a three-point lead over Olga Liashchuck, determined to secure the largest prize purse in the sport. The field was divided into two heats, with Sam Belliveau and Melissa Peacock emerging as the standouts in the first heat. Belliveau’s lightning-fast time of 34.87 seconds edged out Peacock by a mere five-hundredths of a second, earning her the event win.

In the second heat, Carrasquillo showcased her speed and power on the power stairs, finishing just one second behind Belliveau’s winning time and securing the heat victory. The remaining competitors, including Liashchuck, Lucy Underdown, and Angelica Jardine, put on a thrilling display of strength and determination.
